THAT Family is the group of individuals working tirelessly to serve the LGBTQ+ community through advocacy, awareness, events, outreach, resources, and more.

Marques A. Coley

Marques A. Coley (he/they) is a non-binary, published author, motivational speaker, advocate, LGBTQ+ Certified Peer Support Specialist, Certified Life Coach, a performer, and the founder of the THATkid movement and universe.

His first self-published book is “Being THAT kid”. He tells his coming-out story in beautiful and haunting ways. He also outlines his journey of mental health survival and recovery.

He works in mental health as a Peer Support Specialist for a local agency in the Metro Detroit area.

Phoenix Wolf

Phoenix Wolf (he/they) is a non-binary, LGBTQ+ Certified Peer Support Specialist, Certified Community Health Worker, Certified Birth Doula, advocate, resource guru, musician, poet, and Administrative Assistant/Design for the THATkid Family.

Phoenix works for a local LGBTQ+ center, providing resources to the community and working at the front desk.
